A Huge Congratulations to our 2026 Scholarship Recipients!

We are proud to announce the following local graduates that were awarded scholarships within their communities!

Four graduates were awarded $2,500 from the Gene Fuhrman Scholarship. This award was created to honor the Gene Fuhrman, the son of Nortex owners, Alvin and Gracie Fuhrman. These scholarships celebrate Gene’s legacy by supporting the educational endeavors of our outstanding local students.

Trent Gaston – Saint Jo High School

Trent plans on attending Texas Tech University to pursue a degree and career in mechanical engineering.


Anna Hennigan – Muenster High School

Anna plans on attending Texas Tech University to purse a major in animal science and attend veterinary school upon graduation.

Jackson Otts – Gainesville High School

Jackson is looking forward to attending Harding University in the fall to begin his studies in Bible and Ministry.


Alana Sharp – Lindsay High School

Alana plans to achieve her degree in public health from Texas A&M University and plans to attend a Physician Assistant program afterwards.
